Caffeine-dependent life form. 18+ Really, I mean it about 18+ so please respect that. Founded on my filthy love of all things Tom Hiddleston, with a bit of (dark) Bucky and Steve thrown in.
~ You'll find my master list below
Everything I write is 18+. Even the stuff I’m not sure about, I’m saying it’s 18+. This means if you are underage that I am specifically requesting that you leave. Here’s why: this is not how you learn about crucial elements about yourself, like developing a healthy sense of your own sexuality and very important, about safe sex. Please check out these not-for-profit resourcesto learn more.
As for everyone else, welcome! I’m always happy to hear about story ideas or requests, but I’ll also be honest that there’s some things I can’t write, or some things might take some time to put together. But I’m always appreciative of you for stopping by and reading my nonsense.
Since Mr. Tumblr isn’t having any of this description link nonsense, here’s links to my masterlist, my profile on AO3, and to Amazon for my books.
Category: Fluff, then angst, then fluff again. Hurt/comfort too?
Rating: PG, maybe?
Summary: Loki has long been able to see the value in holding his tongue, in restraining his temper. But when your mother makes him so angry that he can't control himself, how can he make it up to you?
Warnings/Notes: There's parent nastiness in here. Hints of verbal abuse, if not outright verbal abuse. The reader is not in any physical danger because it's all via videochat, but it does get inside her head for a bit. If you've ever had to experience something similar, please please take Loki's words at the end to heart. It is not your failing. It is theirs.
New but Retroactive Reminder for this and all of my fics: I do not, have not, and will not give anyone permission to copy/paste, translate, or otherwise take or modify this story to post it anywhere else. You can find my stories here on Tumblr or under kaeorin on AO3, but nowhere else. This does not apply only to fics which hold this disclaimer--NONE of my works are to be stolen or modified. Additionally, please remember that Liking a post on Tumblr does not increase the author's exposure. I don't run your life, but readers should be reblogging the works they like.
A Deeper Rage
Loki was well-versed in the importance of holding in his temper. It was a point of pride for him, actually: that he could seethe quietly on the outside while, on the inside, every last part of him was screaming to leap into action. There was a lot to be said for keeping quiet, after all, and growing up with Thor had more than taught him the value of holding your tongue, rather than flying off the handle at every given slight. Coming to Midgard had only reinforced that. For a long time, the heroes in Stark Tower had done very little to hide their suspicion of him, their distaste. If he’d bared his teeth and snarled at them every time they cracked some foolish joke at his expense, existence would have been so much more miserable.

How long have you been writing fanfics? If the MCU wasn’t your first fandom, what was?
For the MCU, about 2 years!
What helps motivate you to write? Where do you find inspiration?
I write in spite lol. Sometimes over thinking stuff I get in my own way, so I just write even though I have insecurities.
If you could give new writers any advice, what would it be?
Write what you like and write often. I try to write something every day even if I don’t feel like it. Sometimes it’s 200 words, a few sentences, and sometimes I act like I’m not going to write at all and I’ll 500 words out of it!
What is your favourite dark trope and/or kink? Why?
I think my favs are somnophilia and breeding kink.
Share a few lines/paragraphs of one of your stories that truly sums up your style. Don’t forget to share a link to the story!
“His mind was beginning to catch on to the wave of his desire.
You needed to be taught that your body was no longer your own.
August pulled his face up right above yours. He imagined your face wet, tears pouring from your eyes.
He suddenly gasped out, “You’ll cry for me next time, won’t you cookie?”
Is there a dark trait you like to interweave into your dark characters? Is there something in particular that draws you to this characteristic?
I really like to break down the villain’s psychology in a story. I like the inner monologue of why they would do what they are doing. So the traits are usually a variety of selfishness lol.
Which story did you struggle to complete? The one that made you drag your feet to finish.
I’m still working on that one and it’s Mesquite Grove.
Do you have a mutual who will hold your hand and support you when you’re doubting yourself? Do you have one who will truthfully and honestly help you grow as a writer?
@titty-teetee is my bff. She believes in me when I don’t.
Do you have a story that contains personal or important details from an experience that is your own?
I would say all of my stories contain degrees of known life experiences that I have had.
It’s not like Bucky had even put you in the Friend Zone. You were pretty sure he put you in the “Wait, MC is a female?” zone. No, worse, “MC is an actual human being with feelings and not an AI?” zone. You’d been his virtual backup on the Avenger’s missions for over a year now. Everyone else on the tech squad who stayed behind in the Tower to track movements, disarm weapons, send down electronic pulses that crashed systems, and followed the blinking icon that was their designated Avenger, had developed a closeness with them. They were a team. They had their Avenger’s back in stressful situations.
But not Bucky. When he was cleared to run missions with Steve and the others, they’d paired the two of you right away.
“You’re in luck, Buckster,” Tony was sitting on your desk, fiddling with an extremely, extremely delicate inner-ear device you’d been working on. The man in question was standing stiffly, back to the wall in your crowded office. “MC’s one of the best, and since Thor’s off-planet playing AllDaddy, you get her! Congratulations.” Tony tossed the tiny device from one hand to another and you sighed when you heard the tragic little crunch when it dropped to the floor. “Oh. Sorry, kid.”
“Hi,” you offered, holding out a hand, “it’s nice to meet you, Sergeant Barnes.”
He put his metal one in his pocket. “It’s just Barnes, now.” He looked at you briefly and then out the door of your office as if longing to escape.
“Oh, sure,” you said awkwardly, “of course, I apol-”
This was so so good! I’m a sucker for misunderstandings like this where the reader isn’t sure where she and Bucky stand and then he goes and reassures her in the best/most public way! 😳
Plus the way you describe those kisses?!?! 🥴 I’m going to need a minute because
This is for anyone who enjoys the trivia section on IMDb. I updated all the chapters to include their respective Easter eggs and references, but here is the entire list.
